Kalin Construction is a Heavy Civil/Highway Firm specializing in MDOT Grading and Drainage, Commercial and Private Site Work, Residential Plats, Custom Aggregate production and sales including Concrete Crushing, Asphalt Milling, and Trucking. We work primarily in lower Michigan. We are prequalified with MDOT for: Ba, Cb, Ea, G, I, J, K, N2, N92D, N93A, and N93B.

Kalin Construction was founded in 1976 in Berrien County by the late Gerald T. Kalin as primarily a small family owned Sand and Gravel company with five employees. The company grew and expanded into the Trucking and Underground buisness, and then began doing larger grading and drainage projects. In 1986 Kalin recieved it's first MDOT project.

The company currently has about 100 Employees, including three third generation family members.
