AGGREGATE PRODUCTION / SALES
Kalin Construction has been in the portable crushing business since the beginning. We are the proud owners of two of the largest portable crushing plants in Michigan, offering a wide variety of aggregates and complete versatility for all crushing needs. We are able to crush aggregates and concrete rubble to any specification you may need. Our crushing superintendents are MDOT certified Aggregate Technicians. CONCRETE BREAKING
Using the Impactor 3000, we are able to break concrete slabs up to 12" thick. This allows for more efficient removal of concrete pavement which will help maximize your productivity. We also have a small guillotine breaker and hydraulic hammers to do smaller jobs. For all Concrete Breaking Inquiries please email JW Kalin.
CONSTRUCTION STAKING
Kalin Construction has incorporated full-service construction staking and surveying for over twenty years. Our experience ranges from small site work projects to full-scale highway reconstruction. We use Trimble surveying equipment which includes: GPS rovers, GPS base stations, robotic total stations, and laser levels. All of our surveying data is then fully-integrated into our equipment and allows for full machine control which allows us to have greater precision, higher productivity, and provide the customer with a better finished product.
HIGHWAY GRADING
We can complete large highway grading projects through the use of our equipment and skilled operators. Kalin Construction has completed highway projects efficiently with the highest quality found in the industry today.
MILLING
We currently operate two Wirtgen mills that can remove asphalt pavement up to twelve inches thick in one pass. The mills allow for quick removal of asphalt pavement and creates a highly versatile by-product which can be used for many building applications. MUNICIPAL PIPE
Kalin Construction is your one-stop-shop for all of your municipal underground utility needs. We specialize in installing water main, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and box culverts of all sizes.
PAVING / SHOULDER GRAVEL

PULVERIZING

We operate a Cat RM-500 Road Reclaimer that can pulverize up to a 16" deep.
SITE WORK
Kalin Construction is able to move large amounts of earth in an efficient manner to get your project complete on time. Using our vast inventory of equipment, we make it a priority to use the right equipment for your specific project conditions. We have done projects that range in scope from small subdivisions to a full-scale hospital expansion as well as complete site work for stores such as Meijer.
TRENCHING AND TILING
We can trench highway under-drain and farm tile up to 12" diameter. Our equipment will go up to 6' deep and can be laser or GPS Equipped. We also have the capability with our staking department to survey land and work with a client to design a drainage plan to suit their needs. Please email JW Kalin for any trenching inquiries.
TRUCKING
Kalin Construction has a fifteen truck fleet of Michigan Specials pulling a variety of trailers from aluminum and steel trains to 8 axle rear discharge.
